Another seven trees planted

This couple loves planting trees. They grow them from seed and take great pride in it. They call it “spreading life.” call it a hobby or a responsibility, they delight in sharing this talent with the world. They collect seeds on their weekend walks. People give them seeds and small trees because they know they will be planted. They also bury a wish with every tree they plant, an intention, an offering to the world. For each one of these trees, they nurtured the young roots with these loving words, overheard by the shepherd and his son while walking the flock of sheep: may you be Strong, may you be Joyful, may you be Patient, may you be Courageous, may you be Wise, may you be Calm, and may you be Kind. The woman plowing the land for the spring season could see them talking to the trees, but did not make much of it. The cows walking down the Cerro Dos Hermanos felt uplifted. The couple is resting and delighting in a picnic, good books and wonderful company. What a great day!
