Fortunate

The rolling hills fade in the distance in pastel shades of blues and purples. The roaring creek flows at its own pace on this quiet new day. The red winding road foretells what has been and what may come. Green hills and valleys ensure grazing fields and beauty for all. Native trees offer shade and forever freshen the air. What a treat it is to travel through this landscape knowing it is here to be discovered and enjoyed. A ginger cat peeks through a wise tree, who is vulne8rable enough to show us its roots. A yellow labrador puppy quenches her thirst while the cat hides amongst the spring blooms. The couple is taking in the moment, feeling fortunate and thankful to have this day together to delight in each other’s company. Memories of past days fill the stories they share with friends. Plans for what may come have been practiced in their minds, and they feel at peace for what may lie ahead. This moment is all they have, so they fully rejoice in it. How fortunate!
