Details
Jazz Hands VII depicts a drummer. The model was a friend of mine when we had studio spaces in the Hungerford building in Rochester NY. He was both a photographer and a musician. When I got to his studio to photograph him he had set up stage lighting. To get the photo reference for this Jazz Hands painting I had to climb a ladder to be able to look down at his hands and his drums. Oil on linen panel and professionally framed.
