In 2023 myself and two dear artist friends took a leap and went to South Africa for an art workshop with Workshops in SA. Since I was a child I so wanted to go on a safari and during this wonderful trip we went on five! I was in heaven! At the Garden Route Game Reserve, and my first safari, we were treated to a tower of giraffes up on a hill who wandered down to check us out. The look of this giraffe while she munched on tiny leaves in between spiny thorns made me think she was declaring "huh, there they are again!"
