Story of South Africa

In 2023 I and two other dear friends took a leap across the pond to South Africa and participated in a ten day art workshop. During our trip we painted still lifes, landscapes and portraits/figurative studies. In addition we were treated to visits to three private game reserves and five safaris in total. One of the afternoons at the Botlierskop Private Game Reserve Blessing was our model. She was beautiful inside and out and I so enjoyed capturing her spirit. This painting is the result of my time with Blessing as well as a couple of scenes from our travels. This is an oil on linen panel and professionally framed.
